Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy hosts the popular Ladies’ Open next month – an official tournament from the International Tennis Federation’s circuit, and one which counts towards overall world ranking for young women players.
The tournament, which will take place this year from the 4th to 12th February is very popular with spectators, drawing plenty of visitors and tennis enthusiasts, and is largely considered as an excellent training platform for promising young female players. It has often in fact brought many rising stars to the centre court of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy.
Approximately over 40 countries are represented in the Ladies’ Open, and while the main “ones-to-watch out for” originate from all over Europe, players often hail from as far afield as the USA, South Africa and South America.
Tennis enthusiasts will no doubt enjoy the week’s events - the tournament guarantees, as in previous years, some truly inspiring play. There is no cover charge for the Ladies’ Open and spectators are more than welcome to come along.
