In a new lounge area specially developed for this purpose, overlooking the tennis courts and the surrounding pinewood, the concerts take place in a very relaxed and informal concept that appeals to all family and ages. The diversified musical programme brings together exceptional quality formations and artists with distinct genres that include samba, fado, jazz, soul, classical and pop.

As part of this year's summer music sessions at the resort, fado singer Carla Pires, accompanied by André M. Santos (classical guitar) and João Vaz (Portuguese guitar) will perform her most emblematic songs in a concert that you simply cannot miss.

Carla Pires is one of the current Portuguese artists with the largest number of international exhibitions that include hundreds of concerts in the four continents, presence in prestigious music festivals throughout Europe, performances in the most acclaimed concert halls, successful tours not only in European countries but also in Japan, which earned her exceptional reviews in newspapers and magazines of reference.

CARLA PIRES BIOGRAPHY

Carla Pires began her artistic career in 1993. She has participated in various musical projects, recorded soundtracks for television series and played roles as an actress. Between 2002 and 2005, she played the role of the young Amália Rodrigues in the musical "Amália", by Filipe La Feria. Her affirmation as a fado singer began in 2008 and since then she has pursued a unique career in Fado, marked above all by major international tours (France, Scandinavia, Holland, Japan and Austria) and performances in prestigious festivals and theatres around the world.

In 2020 Carla Pires released her fourth album, CARTOGRAFADO, where the modernity of Portuguese music of multiple roots, cosmopolitan, but also rural, national, but also travellers, is married with one of the most beautiful voices of contemporary fado. The "CARTOGRAFADO" Tour started in May 2021 with concerts in Portugal and France, continuing in 2022 in Portugal, France, Czech Republic, and a tour in Austria with 10 concerts between 27 September and 08 October 2022.

On stage, Carla Pires is accompanied by excellent musicians whose performance greatly contributes to the quality and intensity of her concerts.
