Venue: Vale do Lobo Auditorium
Enjoy topical comedy sketches and songs during the upcoming performances of Flights of Fancy, taking place in the Vale do Lobo Auditorium on 10th and 11th March.
The revue covers a series of comedy sketches and songs with musical interludes and is being staged by The Algarveans, the oldest English Theatrical Group in the Algarve.
The production is directed by David Butler-Cole, who has more than 40 years of experience in producing quality shows and has presented 30 for audiences in the Algarve already, and is performed by mother and daughter Gloria and Lara Costa.
Five of the sketches involve a humorous look at travelling by air, covering airport security, passport control and budget flights with prices that appear too good to be true.
The Algarveans – Teatro Experimental was formed in 1991 with the objective of producing English language shows in the Algarve and the group perform at least twice a year. They are a non-profit making association and any surplus from ticket sales is distributed to local charitable organisations.
Flights of Fancy promises to be a show filled with performances that theatre and music lovers across the board will find truly memorable as Vale do Lobo continues its exciting new programme of events for 2017.
Tickets are available now from resort reception priced €12 for resort members and €15 for the general public.
The Flights of Fancy revue will be taking place on 10th March at 20:00h and on 11th March at 17:00h in the Vale do Lobo Auditorium.
