Salt Pans Visit

Venue: Vale do Lobo Parque do Golfe

Get to know a family managed salt pans property, located in the natural park of Ria Formosa, near Olhão, where you can see and understand the traditional process of how to produce and collect the natural sea salt and the famous salt flower, recognized by many elite Chefs for its high mineral properties.

Our guide will walk you on a pedestrian tour by the salt pans and show you a big salt pyramid, that you can climb, enjoy the splendid views and observe the magnificent bird life that lives here.

After the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste some snacks with different varieties of salt.

In the end you will bathe and have a very relaxing experience in a salty lake, similar to the Dead Sea.
