Summer in Vale do Lobo wouldn't be the same without the highly anticipated intimate open-air concerts and this year's programme promises to truly surprise and dazzle with new and exceptional concerts in the welcoming setting of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy! 

In a new lounge area specially developed for this purpose, overlooking the tennis courts and the surrounding pinewood, the concerts take place in a very relaxed and informal concept that appeals to all family and ages. The diversified musical programme brings together exceptional quality formations and artists with distinct genres that include samba, fado, jazz, soul, classical and pop.

Opening this year's summer concert programme at the resort, the Sambambas – Roda de Samba line-up makes its debut in Vale do Lobo for a great evening of pure rhythm and musicality that promises to involve everyone present in a unique setting at sunset.

Bambas since samba is samba, an unexpected collective, from which one can only expect a true "batucada de bamba, beautiful cadence of samba". In a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere (in a true samba circle format), they will perform traditional samba classics among other spices of this genre that is probably the most captivating of Portugal's sister country.

In a very different format, this concert will be a samba circle, which is an improvisation meeting for samba songs, in a concept analogous to jazz jam sessions, promising a contagious and truly unforgettable evening. A true samba circle, which will not leave anyone out and promises to make you dance the samba all night long!

The concert "Sunset Samba Vibes" (by Sambambas band) features Paulinho Lêmos on voice and guitar, Tuniko Goulart on vocals and cavaquinho, Natália Boechat on vocals and pandeiro, and Carlos Poubel on vocals and tantã.

This will be the first event in Vale do Lobo 2023's diversified programme of intimate concerts, bringing together amazing quality artists in an exclusive outdoor musical performance, with a limited number of participants, in the brand-new welcoming lounge setting overlooking the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy courts.
