Vale do Lobo welcomed the start of the 2025/2026 golf season with the traditional Captains’ Drive-In on 1st November, marking the official introduction of the new Golf Club Captains, Odília Parry and Robert Parry. More than 120 Golf Club Members gathered for the occasion, embracing friendly competition and the excitement of the season ahead.
The event began with the Captains presenting their opening drive, setting the tone for a spirited day on the course. Members then took to the fairways, showcasing their skills and enjoying the camaraderie that defines the Vale do Lobo golfing community.
Following the competition, players headed to Spikes for a celebratory dinner, where outstanding cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting to unwind and connect.
Looking ahead, one of the major highlights of the new season will be the Vale do Lobo Amateur Week, taking place from 18th to 24th January 2026. Now in its 32nd edition, this iconic event is set to welcome golfers from around the world for a week of thrilling competition and vibrant social gatherings — reaffirming its status as a must-attend event for golf enthusiasts in 2026.
