The first of these restaurants, named Tinto (Portuguese for \u201cred wine\u201d), pays homage to traditional Portuguese taverns. It\u2019s a nod to the social hubs where farmers and fishermen would gather after work to share stories over simple, wholesome dishes and local wines. With seating for 120 diners, Tinto\u2019s eclectic atmosphere and carefully curated menu of dozens of petiscos (sharing plates) promise to tantalize the senses.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Doce (Portuguese for \u201csweet\u201d), the second venue that opened in the Pra\u00e7a on June 1st, celebrates Portugal\u2019s rich pastry heritage, along with its abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. Showcasing an array of regional pastries, breads, healthy salads, natural juices and smoothies, alongside a selection of globally sourced coffees, Doce aims to redefine the caf\u00e9 experience in the Algarve.<\/p>\n

Both establishments embody Vale do Lobo\u2019s commitment to showcasing the best of Portuguese cuisine and hospitality. From the first sip to the last bite, guests can expect an immersive culinary journey that reflects the diverse flavours and traditions of Portugal.<\/p>\n

Doce at the Pra\u00e7a is a celebration of coffee, baking and fresh fruits. Managed by Vale do Lobo, Doce will be pairing outstanding Portuguese bread and pastries with coffees from around the world. It also offers delicious salads, natural juices and healthy smoothies.<\/p>\n
