The Vale do Lobo Golf Club begins an exciting new chapter as Janet van der Welle and Simon Mulvey take on their roles as Lady Captain and Men’s Captain for the 2026/2027 season.
The official handover took place during the 19th Vale do Lobo Golf Club Annual General Meeting, held on 29 October 2026, marking a special moment of continuity, friendship and shared passion for golf.

As we welcome our new Captains, we extend our sincere appreciation to Odília Parry and Robert Parry, the outgoing Captains for 2025/2026.
Their commitment, enthusiasm and contribution to Club life have helped strengthen the sense of community that makes golfing at Vale do Lobo such a rewarding experience.
We thank them both for their dedication and for the time and energy they have devoted to the Club and its members.
Looking Ahead to the 2026/2027 Season
Joining Janet and Simon in the new leadership team are Jacqueline Blenkinsop, Ladies’ Vice-Captain, and Ian Griffin, Men’s Vice-Captain.
Together, they begin a new season of Club life, bringing fresh enthusiasm and a shared commitment to the traditions, camaraderie and sporting spirit of Vale do Lobo.
