Where the Stars Take Centre Stage: Stargazing in Vale do Lobo

Join us on the evening of 26 July for an unforgettable journey through the night sky over Vale do Lobo.

With the aid of a high-precision motorised telescope, you’ll have the chance to observe the Moon, which will be in its crescent phase, almost full – the ideal time to admire its immensity and magic. You’ll also be able to take your own photograph of the Moon through the telescope, a magical memento of this celestial evening.

Throughout the session, we’ll venture further afield to observe brilliant star clusters, distant galaxies, nebulae and binary star systems, identifying some of the season’s most striking constellations. The planet Venus will also be clearly visible, just after sunset, to further enrich our evening.
