Live Spring Sky: Stargazing in Vale do Lobo

Join us on the evening of 26th April for an unforgettable journey through the night sky of Vale do Lobo.

With the help of a high-precision motorised telescope, you will have the opportunity to observe the Moon, which will be in its crescent phase, the ideal moment to admire its craters, valleys and mountain ranges in detail. You can even take your own photograph of the moon through the telescope, a magical souvenir of this celestial night.

Throughout the session, we will travel further afield to observe bright star clusters, distant galaxies, nebulae and double star systems, identifying some of the most striking constellations of the season. This season is also ideal for observing the great Orion Nebula and the planets Venus and Jupiter, the giant of our solar system, in all their splendour.
