We are now proudly exhibiting artworks from two of the most sought after artists in southern Europe - Magdalena Morey and Juan Galán.

The new Gallery is located beside the Main Reception and is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 to 18.00.

A truly international artist, Magdalena Morey wasborn and trained in Lublin, Poland and after many years of living in both the UK and Switzerland, now lives and works in rural Spain. With a keen love of colour and texture, Magdalena puts excitement, anticipation and even the occasional tinge of loneliness into her abstract expressionist paintings, reflecting the emotional ups and downs that accompany a life of traveling. Using a variety of different media, including pastels, watercolours, gold leaf and acrylic, Magdalena creates landscapes and figurative artworks that are beautifully eloquent and exploding with life.

The light,’ Juan Galán’s sign of identity, floods his every work as brush strokes bring endless impressions and feelings, transporting us to the freshness of the Spanish courtyards, freshly cut flowers and moving water. Juan's uniqueness is characterised by his loose yet determined brush strokes, with no more limits than the interpretation of the element it represents. With carefully placed final touches, giving strength to the painting, shaping volumes and transporting us to a certain place and moment. A painter of moments and daily life, of corners that go unnoticed and integrating them with beauty. Juan is ‘light’ and moves us to a place we would like to be, if you are awake you can dream, because that is what Juan does, because if an artist does not dream…. he stops being an artist.
