Concert by the National Harps Orchestra Youth

NYHO consists of Britain’s finest and most dedicated harpists between the ages of 10-22 years old. The orchestra is considered Britain’s most premier harp ensemble,and members audition from across the UK to gain a place. It is a centre of excellence for teaching young musicians the art of performing, stage craft, harptechniques and delivering performances to the highest of standards. Some members of the group go onto leading music conservatoires or are already at music conservatoires as junior scholars.

Until the pandemic the orchestra regularly performed successful concert tours across Europe.

Also the NYHO charity status is an invaluable part of the group to support talented young musicians financially and it helps immeasurably to the general running costs of the orchestra and supporting incredible opportunities for the musicians involved,such as concert tours.

This concert by the National Youth Harp Orchestra (NYHO) at Vale do Lobo will be one of the great moments of the group, providing a performance of sophistication, musicality and talent, not to be missed!
