New Culinary Experiences at Praça
This Easter, Vale do Lobo’s Praça beach complex is set to elevate its dining experience with the launch of two new international restaurants, Barlume and El Ta’koy. Following the successful debut of Doce and Tinto last year, these exciting additions underscore the resort’s commitment to innovative, world-class culinary experiences.
Barlume – An Italian Culinary Journey
Barlume brings the authentic taste of Italy to Vale do Lobo, offering a menu inspired by traditional recipes where rich flavours and genuine ingredients take centre stage. This elegant venue delivers a refined yet welcoming dining experience, exuding Mediterranean hospitality.
With its eclectic lounge alcoves, communal tables and central bar, Barlume seamlessly transitions from a daytime café-serving in-house baked breads, pastries and pastas accompanied by La Dolce Vita’s Aneri coffee, a wood-roasted classic Italian blend from 1949-to an evening wine bar featuring over 30 Italian wines by the glass and handcrafted cocktails with seasonal ingredients.
El Ta’koy – A Hawaiian-Inspired Escape
El Ta’koy transports guests to the exotic shores of the Pacific, blending bold tropical flavours with a contemporary take on Hawaiian cuisine. Fun, dynamic, and relaxed, this venue celebrates Hawaii’s cultural melting pot with a menu featuring small plates, tacos, and sharing dishes bursting with vibrancy.
Each bite is designed to evoke the sensation of a white sandy beach with a gentle sea breeze, while an abundant cocktail selection-crafted from fresh juices and authentic island rums and inspired by traditional Tiki bars-encourages guests to sit back, sip, and unwind. Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Hawaii, El Ta’koy offers an eclectic gastronomic experience that reimagines bold, authentic flavours in a refined, sophisticated way.
Signature dishes like the Ahi Tuna Tacos with Caviar perfectly embody the essence of Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, where highend meets casual dining. This vision blends elegance with the soul of Hawaiian street cuisine, creating a menu that invites guests to embark on a flavourful journey through the islands.
This expansion reflects Vale do Lobo’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative dining experiences, always defined by the quality and sophistication that distinguish the resort as a world-class destination.
